How Coaches Engage in CAHOOTS
Coaches in CAHOOTS is designed to support coaches at different stages of participation and visibility. There is no single “right” way to belong — only the path that best fits how you want to engage right now.
Observer Path
The Observer path is for coaches who want to continue learning and growing without the pressure of live participation.
This path is a great fit if you:
- Prefer to learn independently
- Have scheduling or time-zone constraints
- Want to earn ICF CCEs through teaching replays
- Appreciate being connected to the community without needing to speak or practice live
Observers are part of CAHOOTS and supported — simply with a lighter, more flexible level of engagement.
Collaborator Path
The Collaborator path is the heart of CAHOOTS. It’s designed for coaches who want to actively participate, practice their skills, and learn alongside others.
This path is a great fit if you:
- Want to attend live weekly meetings
- Bring questions or challenges from your coaching work
- Enjoy practicing coaching skills in a supportive environment
- Value community, shared learning, and mutual encouragement
Collaborators learn not just by listening, but by doing — together.
Catalyst Path
The Catalyst path is for coaches who feel ready to be more visible and generative within the CAHOOTS community.
This path is a great fit if you:
- Enjoy contributing to conversations and helping set the tone for the group
- Want to practice coaching or facilitation in front of peers
- Are interested in shaping ideas, resources, or content with support
- Feel called to step more fully into your voice and leadership as a coach
Catalysts are not “above” others — they simply help good things move.
The Catalyst path is open to current members of Coaches in CAHOOTS. If you would like more information or wish to apply for this path, please contact us.
Choosing Your Path
You’re welcome to begin where you feel most comfortable and aligned. As your season changes, your path can change too. CAHOOTS is here to support you — whether you’re observing, collaborating, or catalyzing.
